Flanders is a densely populated region, which makes hiking through pristine nature for days impossible. Walking through Flanders can nonetheless be extremely rewarding, thanks to the beautiful and varied landscapes. Dense forests alternate with creek valleys, fields, heathland, rolling hills, dunes, wetlands, quaint villages and ancient cities.

You can also visit many cultural and historical sites along the way. To guarantee a high-quality hiking experience, our routes make use of unpaved paths as much as possible, avoiding busy roads and areas, unless they are of high cultural-historical value. You will also find plenty of options for accommodation, hospitality and connections to public transport along our trails.
