The Regional GR Hageland (Streek-GR Hageland) is a loop of 158 km in Flemish Brabant – divided into 9 daily stages – that boasts an incredible diversity of landscapes. The start and end points of each stage are easily accessible by public transport. Almost 70% of the route is unpaved and 95% runs through low-traffic areas.

Discover it all: endless fields and pastures, wet meadows and brooks, flowering orchards, sunken lanes, ironstone ridges, barren sandy soils and mysterious forests. On your hike, you will also become acquainted with the cultural-historical heritage of the cities of Leuven, Tienen, Zoutleeuw, Diest and Aarschot. All these assets of the Hageland await you, along with the region’s beers, wines and delicious local fruits.
