WHERE TO SLEEP
You can access suggestions for lodging by surfing to the webpage of your trail of choice and clicking on the bed icon in the top right-hand corner. A list with different types of accommodation will appear, ranging from campsites to four-star hotels. Icons will also show up on the map when zooming in. Lodgings that cater especially to our audience of outdoor hikers – our so-called “accommodation friends” – stand out because of their blue colour.

Bivakzones in België
Bivakkeren of paalkamperen is gelijk aan kort, luxeloos en discreet overnachten op een bijzondere plek in de natuur.
De plek is gemarkeerd met een paal of pomp. Het basisidee is dat je het bestemde stukje grond één of twee nachten legaal mag gebruiken om je trekkerstent te plaatsen. Eventuele comfortvoorzieningen zijn mooi meegenomen maar geen garantie. Afval opruimen en verwijderen is jouw eigen verantwoordelijkheid. Hoe jij de bivakplaats achterlaat, zo wordt ze ook aangeboden aan de bivakkeerder die na jou komt.
Hiker's Cabins Benelux en Eifel
A Hiker’s Cabin is a wooden cabin which offers perfect overnight shelter for anyone enjoying a cycling or hiking holiday, visiting family on a campsite, or on tour with a group.
All cabins can be rented for a single night and have basic but adequate facilities, including a comfortable bed, pillows, seating, lighting and electricity. You only have to bring your own sleeping bag and pillowcase.
Campspace
Campspaces zijn unieke plekken om te overnachten midden in de natuur. Van achtertuinen in de polder tot bijzondere hutten in het bos. Wanneer je een Campspace boekt, weet je zeker dat je op een plek terecht komt waar je ongestoord van de natuur kunt genieten. Deze plekken worden aangeboden door mensen zoals jij en ik, die hun eigen stukje buiten graag delen met anderen. Zo maken we samen met onze hosts buiten zijn aantrekkelijker, laagdrempeliger en meer persoonlijk.
Welcome to My Garden
Veel hikers willen in ons eigen landje bivakkeren maar tot nu toe is er een schrijnend gebrek aan bivakplaatsen. Om dit enigszins op te vangen werd het project Welcome to My Garden uit de grond gestampt. Elkeen kan zijn eigen tuin ter beschikking stellen voor het plaatsen van een tentje. Je vindt op de kaart van deze site natuurlijk ook alle info om jouw eigen tent tijdens een meerdaagse tocht in een leuke tuin te zetten.
Vrienden op de fiets
Members of Vrienden op de Fiets, our Friends, enjoy multi-day biking and hiking trips. At the end of their active day, they are tired but content and on the lookout for a place to stay overnight and a hearty breakfast.
That is what they find at one of our more than 5000 guest addresses. Our Friends like meeting new people and do not expect luxury. They mainly want to relax and recharge for their early start next morning.
