Let's go hiking on our new Coastal Path!

With the start of the holiday season we also inaugurate our new Coastal Path: 103 km of hiking along the Belgian coast between the French and the Dutch borders.

This new Regional GR shows that the coast really is much more than dikes and beaches. Between De Panne and Het Zwin, this GR leads you along the most beautiful paths through dunes, dune forests, nature reserves, parks, the most famous seaside resorts, special works of art and, of course, along beach and sea.

The route follows unpaved paths as much as possible, avoids busy roads and varies between beach or dike, dunes, nature reserves, coastal towns, parks, etc. A dozen volunteers made sure over the past few months that the entire route is perfectly signposted with yellow-red stripes in both directions. The Coastal Path:

• Is 103 km long
• You explore the entire Belgian coast, from the French to the Dutch borders.
• The route is fully signposted via the yellow-red signs.
• Thanks to the coastal tram, you can divide the stages as you please. And of course you will find plenty of places to stay and eat along the coast.

Currently there is no guidebook of the trail  only a trilingual flyer. But it is fully signposted, and the gpx is available on our website.
